Body Language

My figurative images grow out of my observations of people in everyday life, as they project their “public” persona while inadvertently giving away their private one.

Slouched shoulders, folded arms, passive limbs—we probably all convey these signals at times, often in spite of our best intentions.

Some of these images also explore internal dialogues about who we are versus who we hope to be.

These people don’t exist in real life, and they do not inhabit three-dimensional space.   They are, I suppose, a record of an interior landscape.
